I renamed this thread, because I keep finding boss pedals that are ending soon/badly listed, and are going much lower than their current market value. Obviously the higher up ones will have ended, so I'l try and update my posts for whats ended and how much it went for (I keep finding people saying WOAH THATS CHEAEP then the link is dead and I never find out what it even was, so I'l say what it is, how much it went for etc)

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280487788675&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

I would bid but got no money. Finding a whole load of pedals at annoyingly low prices at the moment.

Let me know if any of you guys decide to bid :)

CE-2 Jap, silver screw just sold for 83.95 - I've seen similar ones go for above 200.

*edit* this isnt the VB-2. this is just what the original post was about, i hijacked my own post because I didn't want to spam.

Scrap the above. just found THIS which I know every single person on this forum will want.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Boss-Guitar-Effects-Pedal_W0QQitemZ130380375142QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Guitar_Accessories?hash=item1e5b46a466

here is part of the description, just makes you want to vomit with rage that it wasnt your dads garage:

"do not know what this device really does as it was my dads and i found it when asked to clear out his garage.

So i will describe . Vibrato VB-2. Made by Boss . Has input and output."

*edit* its at 45 already, don't think it will go for much less than the usual to be honest. Still, not many on ebay at the moment so might be useful to someone :)

I asked if they have a BIN in mind.
I swear to god, if they go "yeah sure have it for 20" - I would actually just die of WTAFness. if thats even a real word.

either way im'a bid. I've never even looked at the VB-2 before, I just see people drooling over them all over these forums. My friend just laughed coz its called "vibrato" and theyre dirty minded..

|How much should I bid?

also how do I edit the post title? <--- look at my profile thing. I'm new :)

Seems you figured out how to do it

And yeah it seems to be very popular pedal... I'm not sure how much its worth exactly (You'll have to wait for more experienced boutique pedal owners) but I reckon you can safely bid upto 50-75 and be able to get your money back no problem (With a profit ofcourse). For personal use I dont know... 100 maybe?

Keep bidding upto 50-75 cause if you grab it any cheaper than that then its one sweet ass deal

Just actually stopped being lazy and ran a search of "boss VB-2" on ebay. Found one in US going for 200 on bids, with a few hours left. There aren't any version differences, so i'm really hoping this guy offers me it for 20. If not i'l bid on around 75 in a few days, its got 6 and a half days left and I'm scouring my room, got about 350 worth of stuff i'l post as a 5 day listing tomorrow :)

he states that he doesn't know if it's defective. so be sure to keep that in mind when bidding...

(CE2) Still on 20, I guess this is one of those auctions that'll just rocket in the end. Did you make him an offer on the VB2 btw?

Not quite an offer, just sent him some bullshit saying I have a gig coming up and mine just broke so I need a new one, or one i can combine the two to make a working one. He doesn't know boss pedals are indestructible :) and I do have a gig coming up, just we don't use vibrato in a metal band.... :)

I really dont know to be honest. Like I said, I'm in a metal band so I wouldnt use it much, plus I do vibrato without thinking about it on the sustained notes. But boss pedals are the new pokemon - I gotta get em all. This is pretty low on the list though, so I might sell this, buy 3 or 4 of the higher up ones then rebuy this later? Depends how much I get it for, if at all.

Also, a bit off topic: other than the stereo, how much of a difference is there between CE-2 and CE-3? like, soundwise? because I prefer the sound of my CE-2 but as soon as I turn on my CE-5 (rigged in stereo) I prefer that, but in mono the CE-2 is miles better... hmm
