Well... no... it is "another Boss product". A half rack unit. |

OK, thanks, that is a little confusing. I thought it was a compact I hadn't heard of! I shoulda picked up that the thread is in "other Boss products". |

I have one, I like it a lot, very verstile and easy to work with. I suppose it is best used for recording but as it has midi it would also work as a live tool. Very good reverbs.

Hey Laurie,
I have one. I'm looking to sell (or swap for Lauriepedals ) if you're interested! (I also have the RAD-50 (?) rack mount with it)
I like it, it's a good summary of pretty much all of Boss' effects, I just find I don't really use it because I'm too busy playing with pedals...
They were going for around AUD 300 here in Aus when I bought mine. Unfortunately prices seem to have dropped a fair bit since (I've been watching eBay to try to figure out how much I can get for mine).
Cheers, Nathan

Thanks for the reply! I have the chance to buy a bulk lot of gear and it is part of the lot.
I'd really be interested to hear what you think one would be worth... |

| You should be able to get somewhere between AUD 200 and AUD 300 for it... but you're more likely to be near the 200 end of that. Prices have been varying quite a lot. I even saw some poor soul buy one for AUD 375 on eBay... That's way overpriced. |

A bit OT but this is for sale locally....

I know Scott Henderson the jazz/fusion player uses the SE-70 as a compact Delay/reverb unit in his effects loop and the 70 is well thought of any thoughts on the 50...? these are as rare as hens teeth here....i was thinking for small gigs or travelling along with a decent overdrive pedal this would be a handy, compact rig though a small combo.... |

I used VF-1 for studio work once, a while back. It's okay if you're looking for crazy, creative sounds. It has the modern "COSM" sound technology, similar to GT-6 or ME-50.
It's also useful for keyboards and some vocal applications. |
