Hi,
I'm trying to figure something out about the HM-2's if you guys who have them could post your bottom label colors and if it is MIJ or MIT, and what country you are in that'd be much appreciated.
Thanks! |

My HM-2 has a black label, and is MIJ.
I'm in the U.S., but my HM-2 was bought off eBay from a seller in the U.K. |

Dinges do you have your HM-2 there in front of you?
It is very easy for dealers to swap backplates and I can understand your worries.
If you do have the HM-2 in front of you, look inside the toplid of the batterycover. You will see something like
no.7 A
The serialnumber, is it on a paperlabel or at the backplate?
The wording on the label: Is there any mention of interferance? Most of the modulationeffects such as Chorus, Phase,Flange,Delay and Reverb do have a few lines which mention about regulations about interferance. Distortion- and Overdrive pedals do not, as they are straightforward perdal, and do not cause any interferance with other electronical pieces of equipment.
Just some guidelines, but have a look and tell us what you have there............ Cheers.
