Hello all ....has anyone got a mod for the BF-2 to take that metallic ping out of the sound..i have one lying around gathering dust...... thanks.......
Indeed... Christo gave me the same mod a few weeks back and the BF-2 has replaced my PH-3 as my modulation pedal of choice. It is very nice with this mod indeed!
Speaking of, I noticed in the pic of the BF-2B it had a M3204 opamp, at least thats what I can read from it, its a little blurry the same as the HiBand flanger, thought it was the cause of the octave up sound. If it isn't the opamp, what is different in the Bass flanger to be suited to bass, even tho the BF2 can handle both g'tar and bass.
i'm thinking of modding it to use it more for a chorus effect than a flanger...so what you guys are saying is to replace C7 and C21 with a .01uf cap..i'm assuming any good electronics shop woud stock them.......?? your probably gonna have to hold franzonis hand for a while guys as i'm only feeling my way around on the modding front....!!.......
