While alot of the boutique OD's are $$$, there's something about pluggin'a new one in and running it thru the paces. |

Hey, I ain't sour graping. The one thing I always notice about the $$$ boutique pedals is how quiet they are. Probably one of my favorites is the Solid Gold High Octane. It just has the sound of a Les Paul into a dimed Marshall. And made in Canada. The Love Pedal Provalve is also amazing, and way less than a grand . I haven't tried the Provalve 2, but it should be as cool. There's a million overdrive pedals out there, so there is no Earthly reason to pay a grand for anything. If you study the Comparinator, you'll find a pedal you like and still have plenty of change left over. Then again, you could buy a cheap SD-1 and do a few mods to it, and freak every Centaur owner right the Hell out. |

Hey Ranjam, that's what makes Bossarea so cool, every one's got somthing to add! Personally, I don't need 90% of the gear I've got. It's just a fun way to spend life, and as for pedals...they take up alot less room than my other passtimes(hotrods and antique radios). Having said that, if I had the coin I wouldn't mind having a " horsey" Klon, a CJOD, and a BBOD. Maybe someday! |
