Hi Dr Bob
Yeah that was me having a go at the SD-2. I was going to bid again on it but it just too expensive for me
I'll just have to keep the GAS under control for a while since I've had an expensive month fixing the car

That is very small
it could even be in a chord
That would be good, use it to connect 2 pedals, and theres a filter built in |

Apparently it's a filter pedal, I see it comes with a user manual which is probably the shortest ever written.
Hi Bossarea, guirat & Guys You guys, have to help me out here....
I have looked at the picture of the open pedal, on that link. All I can BLOODY SEE, is 2 wires connected between 2 sockets. I've blown the pic up, & That's all I can see.
It must be FILTER WIRE , and Filter wire is so DAMM RARE, that I have never owned any in my life.
IT could be Distortion wire?
I'll try to post the pic, if it won't upload, can Bossarea paste it into here?
PIC HERE IF it Worked?
I think someone is taking us for a ride. Me I'm gunna bye both of them ---- NOT.
Anyone want to buy a nice bridge in Sydney Australia Old but very nice sometimes called: The Sydney Harbor Bridge or The Coat-Hanger.
I also have a very lovely & very big stone Called Ayers Rock for sale. I think Bosssarea is selling something called "Times Square"
PM if you are interested.
Regards Confused Dr. Bob |

The only filter that I can see that you will get, is...... Your Wallet being Filtered.
This seller needs to be reported to EvilBay. maybe someone should mail him. Did I say that? wasn't me
Sorry guys this sort of CRAP Electronics SCAM, makes me really angry. Some poor innocent basted will probably buy it, & he has 2 of them.

It is actually a genuine effect box, I think there's a link somewhere in the listing for the manufacturer's website where it is displayed along with more conventional models. I've seen the site, the text is in Japanese though.
It's been discussed in a long thread on the TGP site which is where I first saw it. Special circuit or in-joke on people with more money than sense buying boutique pedals - you decide, though it's hard to know without testing it out. I don't see anything illegal about it, in fact I can see someone buying it just to add to their collection as a novelty. Even if all the wire does is filter the sound in some way due to resistance, then it could still be termed an 'effect'. Look at some very expensive guitar cables which to all intents & purposes sound the same as a cheap one to most people.
Someone suggested that if they'd just hidden the wires in black goop then they'd be selling by the shedload. At that price I think it it up to a discerning buyer to decide how to spend their money. |

Hi guirat Will you be kind enough to post the link, both to TGP & the manufacturer?
I would be interested to Know more, well in reality it's probably less,
While I see your point of view, why can't you just replace the two plugs on the ends of a short patch cable with in-line sockets It would achieve the same end results.
And for around $10 or less.

Whoa, that's a lot of folding stuff just for some replacement knobs!!!
Why wouldn't you just take the knobs off and playwithout anything if it makes such a big difference?!?!?

You have to admit they would look good on my Marshall stack:

But maybe I'll try it without the knobs as you suggest, it could save me $2k |
