Btw zerksies, that real-time synth/drum studio bit is good stuff mate! If only I was that good.

Tks for the link; it was rather enjoyable.
That's quite a modular & overall system he's got running there.
I didn't realize the TR-808/909 series was so large!

It's a good example of a non-guitar use of BOSS, and more specifically, shines a light onto the popularity and relative rarity of the DC-2. It seemed to be a important part of his rig.. possibly the only item rendering his sound in stereo.

I also thought it was good.. makes me wonder what gear like that Aphex Twin uses (but I hear he makes much of it himself..)

Wow - I haven't seen a MacBeth here in Nashville.

Two studios here have a Roland System-100 but both are inoperable I believe. That's a pretty interesting assembly of gear...909, MacBeth, System-100, DC-2...

Imagine if Dave Brubeck had drum machines and sequencers, then his 7/4 time and 11/4 jazz would have been simple to recreate!
