i dont mean to sound insulting, but make sure the "volume" is on, and that you dont have your guitar plugged into OUTPUT and INPUT going to your amp.
the reason i say this is because i have been playing guitar for a long time, and I do one or the other once a week on average |

How can you tell the switch is ok ? Did you test it with a DMM ?
I don't know your skill in electronics, but if what follows majke sense for you :
Try to verify the alimentation first. Is there voltage (how many volts ?) on the AOP or transitors ? Is the Bias ok ? (it should be at Vcc/2, ie 4v5).
Then, if this is ok, verify the contacts, everywhere. With a DMM. Escpecially on sensitive points : from jacks to PCB, pots pins, and so on.
Try to find out hy the led is on. Does the flip-flop function ?
If you don't manage to save it, I can offer you some money for it. I buy broken elec stuff. Let me know if interested. |

| this may sound odd, but try putting a piece of scotch tape over the 2 metal 9volt battery connectors. make sure the positive and negative are covered with the tape. |

Try momentarily reversing the battery -- you won't be able to clip it on because of the difference between the two battery terminals, but you can momentarily touch the (+) lead to the (-) bettery terminal, and vice versa. Only for a second or so at the most; just touch the battery to the clip reversed. Then try it again.
