ok man i'm not known for my patience and when it comes to gear I gas for...well lets just say i'll go to inhuman lengths to get what I want...and I always get what I want in the end...well awhile ago I ran across one of these badboys

and after a fruitless search i've realized that the odds of me having one are slim(unless "they" decide to start up production again)...to my ears that's one of the best fuzz's i've ever heard...I guess what i'm trying to say is when a company makes a limited pedal and if said pedal isn't the bee's knee's(not based on opinions, but sales)then so be it...but if you make something that connects w/ the musical community don't be a douchebag and stop production (I know uber-rarity is so chick nowdays isn't it? ) because I might just show up at your door to stomp a mudhole in your ass!!!!
Now on to a positive subject...this another fine piece of kit from the land of Devi!!!...the playing does the product no justice though...believe me this baby sounds dreamy in person.

Yeah, it's funny. That was mentioned on another thread, about how they only made 5 SD-1's w/ the Zakk bullseye paint( don't know if they were hopped up or not). A couple of my Z Vex pedals are 1 of 1, but that's the Jason Myrold artwork. I do have an original Spam Can FF, Zack only made a little over 100 of those from his first run. It sounds like Heaven...if you were in Hell! |

yeah I like Vex's stuff too ...he has a kit coming out that's basically his entire line of effects in BOYC form.
I'm always on the prowl for fuzz and here in the past few years it's been hard keeping up...seems like once a week I stumble upon a box I must have...I guess that's better than not being able to find shit to buy...but after looking around for a week hardcore i'm going to go w/ Devi Ever's Electric Brown, Dream Mangler & Aenima Fuzz and Dwarfcraft Devices' Eau Claire Thunder & Fuzzhugger's Chalice...but man I think i'll gas for that Wizard Fountain until the end of ages!...i'm not the only one that wants it, there's a petition going and the cat that made them(a whole 5!) has dropped hits within the last month about posting the schematics for those who want it...def. better than never getting my grubby mits on one.

There's some good ones out there. I havn't tryed Devi's yet, but heard good things( Aaron likes'em!). Alot of the (good) fuzz pedals use germanium transistors, which havn't been manufactured since the 60's. However, I'm enjoying an OD9 Ibanez right now, 83 w/ silicons. It says overdrive on it but, it's one smokin' fuzz pedal. You can even play chords on it!  |

Yeah there's plenty of room in my world for both germanium and silicon...at the moment I have an Austone Fuzz Nutz(germanium)on my board and i've never heard a fuzz box so splatty in my life germanium transistors are fickle to temperature change though...
Devi's stuff is jaw dropping...her Mangler designs are the coolest thing i've seen in awhile...hell she deserves credit for the "Eye Of God" alone! |

| Dude i feel you it took me about 10 years to get a Bionic Expandora pedal.I ran into one when i was recording. i had to rent the thing, it was so sweet. They would not let me buy it from them. So the hunt began. This was back in the day when there was not much on sale on the internet. and ebay was barely started. I checked shop galore, it was a boutique pedal back them going for about $300. very hard to find. I picked it up on ebay a couple of years ago cheap. |

Too cool! I havn't tried the original Expandora, but I picked up the Expandora 2 when it came out. It's supposedly the same only instead of DIP switches it has a 4th knob to control the tones. It's the one with the built in VU meter LED's, havn't played it in a while( floating around somewhere!), but I remember it sounding cool! Hey, I'm gonna sound like I'm on Zack's payroll(not ), but you guys should try his Machine. He calls it a frquency tripeler, cross freq. distortion, ya can run it in front if any fuzz box and it will make your brain melt!(Don't use it with headphones!!!). This thing in front if a good(or bad) fuzz pedal delivers harmonics and overtones you never knew a guitar string could Fu**ing make! He has a YouTube demo(Z vex Machine). I tried it with my headphones and it gave me a headache that lasted 2 days!!! Too much sonic info!!! |

thats a great feeling isn't it?...to get what you've been gassin for. When a piece of gear enters my brain and goes from idea to actuality I lose sleep until the goal is met. Years ago when the Orange Amp gas took ahold of me I dropped the hammer and started bidding high on an old one...only to be out bid in the last few sec....that night I must have dreamed of being a Orange owner because I woke up in the best mood and it took until after showering(wake up time) for it to hit me that i'd lost the bidding war the previous night...man I was fuming at that point...I swore i'd never let that happen again...so now when I want something bad no more bidding wars for me...I just proxy bid to the moon

On which forum or postings have you seen the info about the petition
for to get him to post the sch.?
As for the Monster Fuzz, I belive Goran has or had one of the variations of this great Fuzz pedal.
But then again, Goran probably owns just about every Fuzz making thing that has ever been invented...
