Like i said before ..buy two for either side of the fireplace and convince your better half that they can double as surround sound speakers for the TV when not being used as guitar amps.... ..you played the HT-5 and liked it and Blackstar are getting a good rep with their stuff...steve craddock from Ocean Colour Scene/Paul Weller fame is using three of the 30 watt combos onstage, personally i think with Marshall your paying for the logo as well.... |

The Blackstar HT-5 half stack looks to be a winner in its class.
I'm partial to the amps I've touched & heard 1st hand but the HT-5 sounds like it gives a good run for the money.
I don't think you'd be dissapointed either way you go. |

Well, got my finger out my hoop, and decided to drive to Edinburgh today. Returned home with a brand new HT-5 half stack, and a handfull of rather nice looking patch cables. It's now sitting in my living room, much to the delight of my better half. Only had a chance to mess around with it without pedals, before I had to head to work. Heavily impressed so far. Can't wait to try the pedals through this bad boy. The great thing about getting a new amp, is that it's also like making all your pedals new again, as they're going to sound different. Awesome..... |

Thanks dudes!! Oddly enough, that's exactly what my girlfriend did when I got home, except she's way hotter!
I'm working all weekend, and shall be going out on Monday, so I should have most of Tuesday (minus the hangover) and a bit of Wednesday to get it cranked up, and properly messed around with. I shall report back my findings... |
