Do any of the rest of you have trouble with the far right knob on boss pedals with 4 knobs being bent. You know the black 4 knob kind in the style of the MT-2, PQ-4, BF-3, CE-5, PH-3, OC-3, PS-3, PS-5, HM-3, HR-2, LMB-3, AC-2, AW-3, MD-2, ODB-3, PW-2, RV-3, RV-5, SD-2, SYB-3, SYB-5? You know the standard black with no color topping taiwanese knob.
Anyway I had a MT-2 that had the far right knob bent and I figured I could bend it back and then it snapped off like nothing and now all I have is the stub of a stem. This doesn't bother me much has I have two other MT-2's. But I got a PQ-4 in the mail today and it has a far right knob that is a little bent, I mean it's barely noticable I certainly didn't notice it from pictures and didnt actually notice until I was playing it today and looked down and something seemed a little off and sure enough I can feel that it is bent to the left a little. Anyway does anyone have a good way to fix this? Do you think if I sent it back to Boss that they would fix it (despite the fact this pedal is out of production) I really love the PQ-4 and I just want it to be in tip-top condition because otherwise this thing is thing is absolutely mint. Anyway let me know what ya got, thanks.

Actually the far right knob on my DC-3 is slightly bend - not so much that you can see it but you can feel it when tweaking it..
Suprised to learn that others have the same problem..
Mighty strange..

I haven't seen this before but I guess a knob could get bent with some dodgy footwork. I'm sure Roland would charge you to fix it and it would probably not be cheap. Ordering a new pot and getting a tech to replace it would probably be a cheaper solution. |

| yeah, i experienced it with one of my MT2's before. my solution: i bought another MT2, not a mint one and interchanged the casing and circuit, then sold the circuit with the bent knob in the not-so-mint case. so i end up with a mint and straight-knobs mt2. hehehe |

Same here, not any bend knobs but for some reason [the left one in my case] felt different. When I checked it properly, I noticed the screw was actually loose. Not a problem really, fastened it and feels better now. Guess it was just a case of pedal being well used. |

| Bought a 2nd hand OS-2 recently. Right pot was half cracked on the spline. Contacted Roland here in Aus who supplied me with a new pot for a few $. Pretty straightforward replacement. |
