Can someone check something out for me in a ds-1,See if D5 I jumpered if so could you give the date of your pedal

Em, what do you mean by date ? For jumper ed D5, I don't know what will happen. DS-1 config is symmetrical clipping. I haven't try runs the pedal with one diode paralleled with a jumper (Become a resistor in real circuit)

I have a couple DS1's open ......i'm not sure i understand what you want , let me know if i can help .

This DS-1 is a MIT SER# ft56962 , with a production date of JUNE 2005. UNIT # 66962

I figured it out the diode controls the led
