If you don't mind doing some modding to your late model MT-2... I spent a bunch of time last year finding a tone I liked out of my late model MT-2. It's different to most mods and the MOSFET clippers turn it into a more boutique sound.

That looks like a good set of mods, thank you for the link.

The only DIY mod I've ever done to a pedal was to remove c22 from my Marshall GV-2 to defeat the treble-cut filter that made it sound muddy at low gain settings, so I might have to try a few simpler modding jobs before I progress to this one!

I saved the PDF file anyway, so I can go back to it when my skills allow!
