I want to do this to my DS-1: Linky

But this site doesn't answer all my questions, so I'll try you guys.

1) Do I solder the wires from the bottom (solder side) or the top?
2) Where it says "Solder a wire here" do I solder all five wires to that one spot?
3) Has anyone else done this?

Thanks guys

I haven't tried the mod but I'll take a stab at answering your questions.

You will probably need to solder to the bottom side. It might look better if you did it from the top side but you would need to drill holes for the wires.

I understand that the switch has two wires. One wire goes to the spot marked "solder a wire here". The other side goes to A, B, C, D or E.

Probably, but not me

bossarea, thanks, let me clear something up: there are five switches, one wire goes to A, B, C, D, and E, and the other wire goes to the one common lug, but does this mean five wires will be soldered to the one lug? I ask this because it seems a bit tricky.
