Got my PN-2 today. Actually a bit dissapointed - don't see what the fuss is about. My TR-2 makes better tremolo.
IŽll try borrowing a friends amp to check out the panning - hopes this will do the trick..
But it is mint, with box and instructions so it still may have some collectors value although it may never end up in my rig.
Cheers |

I stupidly got rid of my TR-2 as I was waitng for my PN-2 to arrive. The trem is totally shit on the PN-2 compared to the TR-2 You only really get much response with the dials cranked right up for the choppy effect. Ive recently aquired a VB-2 and its great. No box but in immaculate condition. Love some of the sounds you can get from it. |

| Added DSD-3 to my collection today. It has a nice warm sounding delay, and the sampling feature is a cool thing, although this pedal will mainly be used as a delay. Compared it to my DD-3 MIT and the DSD-3 sounds warmer. Its a nice pedal indeed. |

DC-2 in very good condition (without box..), the sound coming out of this pedal is truly amazing! The downside is that this pedal is not tweakable (no knobs...), but the four presets are just terrific. I like the first best. At this moment I like it more than the DC-3, but this will probably change |

I felt the same with my DC-2. Actually I have been using it more on my pedalboard than my DC-3. Its an amazing pedal indeed.
I recieved my DM-3 the other day. Mint condition with box. Havent really gotten to try it out thouroghly yet, but it sounds nice.

| Scored a good deal on an FZ3 and MIJ OD2 a couple of weeks ago. Also managed to find a screaming deal on a silver screw PSM5. Haven't gotten to use the FZ3 yet, but the OD2 is now on my pedal board. |

There is such a thing as a silver screw PSM-5
Does it have the red label with the connection figure as the later black screw PSM-5s?

i was able to own such pedal. i already mentioned it on another thread but somebody replied that PSM5's were made after the silver screw era. so, what's the real score? |

Yes, I remember reading your post and I may very well have been the one to dismiss it as a replaced screw. With more of these popping up it looks like it may be genuine after all.
Boss says it wasn't produced until January 1983 but maybe it's their release date that's incorrect. |

I don't have it here with me, but I should hopefully have it within the next few days and I can report back. I bought it a few weeks ago, but they had to hold it for a certain number of days before it could "technically" be sold. I guess there's some law about used musical equipment where I bought it that says when a shop buys used gear it must be held for 30 days in case it ends up that it was stolen property. Whether or not the screw was replaced, it was only $25 US, so worst case scenario: I have a silver screw to put into one of my genuine silver screw era pedals and still a killer price on the PSM5, so it's a win-win situation.
Unless of course it turns out that the pedal was stolen and I don't get it! |

| well, if it were stolen, i don't think the real owner would bother getting it back unless he/she is a boss aficionado. |

| My feeling also, which is why I went ahead and paid for it in advance. If it clears the holding period, I should have it in a few days. |
