| A VB-2 normally goes for $300-$400 depending on condition. |

the internet hypes up stuff, and these pedals are no exception. the dm2 is ok. i mean, i thought it was fantastic until i heard and played lots of other delays. Now, i think its a bit dull actually. i wont sell mine ..because i like the color?...but anyway..go out and buy another delay, theres plenty of em and they are cheap. Having said this, some boss pedals are basically irreplacable in that they are kind of unique. the Dm2 is not one of these in svengalis opinion. Further, i reckon boss pedals are still cheap. When the time comes that you go to the supermarket and buy things like digital toilet paper, thats when these pedals will be expensive.

Let's not forget that eBay generally is a seller's market, particularly with musical instruments.
There's always a newbie who isn't particularly strategic and they follow all of eBay's advice about bidding high and letting proxy bidding do the work., and the fatal warning "you are only 1 bid away from being out bid .. bid again"!!!
And also remember, there are people who live in remote places without music stores, and they'll pay more than a reasonable price to get any pedal in good shape. So the system really is biased to favour the seller IMHO.
I saw an average shape DD-2 go for 197.00, there was a guy in BC unloading a BCB 6, a DD-2 and bunch of other pedals, and the same guy who bidup the DD-2 to $197 also paid $130 for a bcb 6. Who'd pay 130 for a bare BCB -6. If YOU WOULD, email me, mine still has the 5 series serial number on it possibly indicating a first production BCB 6 from 1985. Yah, I'll sell you the psm-5, redback for $75 to go with it too! Nuts.
