Hi all
I used one of those neutrik right angle connectors on the back of my musicman combo to replace the old connection on the speaker cable and i agree with alice... they are easy to work with and to put together and pretty tough as well.... |

Well that was my board, I won't re-post the picture above, it has grown up a bit now in order to accomodate my Blackstar HT Drive which trumped both the modded OD-3 and BD-2 to my ears.
My advice regarding those in-line connectors though is JUST SAY NO!
Despite appearances, the sockets on Boss compacts rarely line up exactly and also velco is not a solid surface so there is also some movement. The result is that the in-line connectors don't make the best connection and do put a strain on the socket which can lead to damage. There are posts from more experienced pedal freaks than me floating around this board that will support this comment.
I personally had experience of crackle and signal loss when using them. I now don't and they are sitting in the cupboard.

Bit of progress (Added EHX DEM and MT-2 before Whammy). The DEM is definately there to stay... The MT-2 however isnt. I'd like to add a sustainer, tuner, and EQ to my board... Got enough reverb from my amps and I can always footswitch that anyway
Pairing the DEM with the Muff setting on the OD20 I was able to get some quite synth like tones which really impressed me

Yup, I actually kicked one of those buggers in half once. I'm not afraid of any damage to the pedals, that's sturdy enough, but as for those inline connectors: neat - yes, sturdy - no.
Learn to solder and make your own leads using Neutrik jacks and good quality instrument cord, you'll be glad you did in the long run. |

The other day, i went to play with a friend whos a drummer. And i just took the bare essentials i needed out of my Behringer PB1000 and put them in this. Ever since ive been using this, ive realised how many things i dont need on a board! So im loving using this set up. Its all i need.
The pedal board/case is something i made awhile back. I posted it in this non boss gear discussions i think. Its very handy and easy to use.
I plan on getting some quality patch cables and replacing my TU-2 with a Korg Pitchblack.

P.s the sticky tape on the HZD is for my settings, as i tend to knock them sometimes.
P.P.S Using the HZD with my MIJ SS DS-1 is heaven! |

Well in that case, just go ahead and ship me your RV-3 and your PS-5. I could always use backups. I'll take the TU-2 as well.

Haha sorry, I think ill be keeping them. I forgot to mention that I've moved my rv-3 to my effects loop, so it just sits on top of the amp. I think it sounds I bit better |

Hello Everyone, I'm from Bandung, Indonesia. I want to share the pict of my Pedalboard too. I've been following this Forum for long time, but it's my first post. Hope You all enjoy my pedalboard.
Here it is..

chains are:
Guitar (Custom made, Strat model, 22 frets, CBS headstock, Mahogany Body, Hardmaple Neck, Ebony Fretoard, 1 Duncan Designed Blackout @bridge, 1 volume pot, fixed bridge. not pictured above) -> DigiTech EX-7 -> Boss TU-2 -> MXR Micro Amp -> MXR Doubleshot Distortion -> ISP Decimator -> Zoom G1 (for modulation purpose) -> Boss PQ-4 -> DigiTech DigiDelay -> Amp (I have a Roland Cube 30x for practice at home. not pictured above).
I want to exchange my TU-2 with TU-3, but there's no music-shop that stock TU-3 already in my country.
Sorry for my bad English. |

hateandwar, Yes, I did have a custom board made. It looked great with its blonde tolex...very clean arrangement. But for some reason something was really sucking the tone away. These same pedals in a BCB-3(with the TU-2 plugged in outside the board) work just fine, but for whatever reason in the board the tone went out the door. We checked all cords, all adapters, everything. So out of frustration I went back to the BCB-3 and am satisfied with that.
I also wanted it to be a little smaller, maybe not so much room between the pedals, but my tech wanted it to be easy to get between the pedals in case we wanted to change out pedals for whatever reason...I have to give him credit he was right on that. So again, for now I'll stick with a BCB-3(plus a TU-2 on the side) for my talent enhancement needs. |

It has been a long while since I've posted to this topic. I change my board regularly and arrange pedals both by color and functionality. I like to look down and see pedal candy...

I might plop in a BF-2 or HF-2 for the NS-2, which is only there for the AC-2 whose hum I have seemed to have tamed. |
