I think they should make some sort of Octave-Fuzz/Distortion, one pedal is for the fuzz/dist, one for the octave on/off. Maybe add some delay or reverb as an option on the octave, maybe pitch shifting to get more than just one octave up. I know you can get a Fender Blender or a Foxx Tone to pretty much get the same sounds, but I just think Boss would be able to add some extras with their digital innovations.

I've been having a couple of (rather dirty) daydreams about ta tremolo/vibrato/vibe-style twin pedal. With tap tempo of course....and programmable settings.

PN2/TR2/VB2/CE1 sounds...

I think a modulation one would be great, flange, phaser, chorus, trem/pan, stuff like that but with filters aswell as a rival to the Line6 fm4 which im tempted to buy.

Or a reverb one to run after the dd-20. They could try to do what Vox have done and put a smallish vacume tube init to make it more original sounding.

I have to agree with you, on this one.

Single stompboxes must take the envalope and push the borders into new directions - create new sounds NOT RE-CREATE/COPY OLD SOUNDS . . .

. . . my 2 cents.
