I needed to replace a flakey Boss DS-2 in my pedalboard and I thought I might try something different. I just bought a DigiTech DF-7 and it's awesome. It has a setting "based on the DS-1" that's, umm, interesting. I really like the "big muff" emulation though.

Those Digitech X Series pedals are very good. As with any modelling pedal, take their claims of accuracy with a pinch of salt, though...
IIRC the DS-1 sim was good (at least as good as Roland's COSM version), but the ProCo Rat and Big Muff were not so great. Their DOD 250 is right on the money, though... a real favourite sound of mine. |

Hi Caliban Just a bit off topic. Did you get a DOD RP250? If you did, can you please write a bit about it in a new thread?
I can feel the GAS pains already.

G'day Dr. Bob! Yep, I have pics of the gear, but the image upload isn't working for me at the moment. I'll try again later.

Hi lauries2 See if the above HTML code works for your files uploaded to the forum.
To see the code, just click on the reply with quote icon. I will try to snap shot the code as an image, because if you try to paste it into a new post as text, it attempts to display the image/s.
(Quite) A few people have been asking about how we display our uploaded pics, in the posting.
Regards Dr. Bob
