Hello All,
First post. Just joined. Perused for a bit and decided to ask this question which has been bugging me since I got the unit over a year ago.
Sometimes just for fun or practice I will plug a guitar straight into the looper then into an amp. I will lay down a rhythm track then solo over top of it. My issue is with the relative volumes of the looped phrase track, the guide or "drums" (if I want to use them), and the "dry" live track. I have to have the phrase volume and the guide volumes VERY low or they overwhelm the live signal I am playing. And I mean VERY low. So low that the control knobs are almost at zero (roughly 7 o'clock). I would have thought that phrase volume control in particular would be set such that 12 o'clock meant the phrase was the same volume as the live feed, and anything to the left would reduce the looped phrase in relation to the live, and anything to the right would make the loop louder than the live (something I don't forsee wanting to do, but I guess some might). I am guessing that if I boost my signal level into the unit with a preamp or something, I can make my live signal louder than the guide track, but the loop phrase is still going to relatively louder.
Are there any gain controls anywhere in the unit?
Thank you for your feedback.
