been have recent problems with my FZ-2. Its last in my chain and after a few tests I found out it was causing the volume cuts or decreases. I found that if I tap it with my foot or move an inch or so the sound would come back. Now I'm not getting any sound outta it and this sucks cause its the only pedal who is constantly on.
anyway I can fix it myself or am I gonna have to take it to some one. |

| Sounds like a loose connection, dirty jack, or cold solder joint to me. |

Hi FatsoForgotso, Defrag & guys
If it makes you feel any better, my FZ-2 started playing up as well. I'll take a look & see what I can find, it might help you out as well.
I loose all FuZZ effect, on mine, but I didn't try hitting it . to see if it was a mechanically intermittent problem.
In the old days we used to call this technique a "Calibrated Thump" Maybe Laurie2 remembers this? as he was once an Aussie.
Defrag is right, open it up and look around, like he wrote, " Sounds like a loose connection, dirty jack, or cold solder joint to me".

| I'm as pedal tech savvy I would hope to be. Does the digital board come out? when I do open it up, what should i look for? in terms of dirty jacks or cold solder joints? |
