Haha, those I got off a guy who knew his stuff. I paid less than what they usually go for on eBay, but still more than a hundred bucks. I think I paid about 200 for the spectrum and 150 for the slow gear.

Nice collection slow gear! You must be living on two minute noodles or something to save your $$$ to buy this stuff. Then again if you keep getting pedals for 5 bucks at yeard sales ... bring on the steaks!

it's not a very good photo, but here's my Boss pedals, plus a few of other brands (only 2 of 30+ DOD pedals are shown, though):

the top shelf includes one of every compact Boss OD/distortion/fuzz pedal made, aside from the new ones that were just announced at NAMM. and that PD-1 in the bottom right-hand corner is frickin' huge, dimensionally and sonically....

Looks like a good storing solution.

It looks real easy to find what you're looking for and seing them out in all their colours is a pretty sight too.

thank you, bossarea! I found that display case by the side of the road, dirty and with one side torn off but otherwise in decent shape. after repairing it and replacing the wooden shelves with plexiglas, it cleaned up rather nicely....

Yea thats a nice collection you got, pawnshop_trash

Do you just take them out and set up a chain when you play, or are those extras?

I've got a few extras -- my beat-up MIJ SD-1 was retired (replaced by an AnalogMan-modded SD-1), and two dead mint pedals (PQ-4 and MIJ CE-2B) likely will never leave that display case, because I have others in lesser condition to use. but I've never hooked up more than 10 of them together at any one time.

every so often I like to pull out random pedals to see how much ruckus I can raise. I also sometimes do 'shootouts' of similar pedals (e.g., Boss flangers; Boss CE-2/CE-3 vs. DOD FX60/FX65/FX64; or E-H Little Big Muff vs. ProCo Rat vs. Boss FZ-2/PW-2 vs. DOD FX52 in a one-fall, no time limit, disqualification cage match... er, sorry.)

my collection pales next to Slow Gear's though! the nicest Boss pedals I have are a long-dash OD-1, plus BF-2 and GE-6 pedals with silver screws....

Pretty crapy picture, but I want to see you trying to take a pic of about 150 pedals in an appartment....

Mostly Boss and Ibanez, some Dod, EHX, 2 Maestro phasers, some vintage fuzz, TC wonders, Georges Dennis, Colorsound, a Fender Blender, a Melos Tape Echo, a Whammy II, some old Wahs...

Good Lord. You've even got some colorsound stuff, which is next to impossible to get in the States. Props for the old DOD pedals, most people think they're junk. I, on the other hand, think they made a decent-sounding pedal, but workmanship on their footswitches themselves could have been a lot better. I`m also really impressed with your ibanez collection. You have a couple that I still haven't bought.

And you're right, not bad for a 22 year old. Nice collection bro, I`m envious.

Are those little matchbox cars? hehe
Zounds man, what a collection. I can imagine the frozen mud if you'd string everything in a line to your amp!

SlowGear : and guess how much I payed for the 2 Colorsound ? Hint : it's less than 30€, both...

But I must confess, your MXR Flanger makes me really jealous. I repaired one recently, but I had to give it back to its owner. It's the best flanger I ever heard. Talking about that, if you would consider a trade, I'll be interested.

Noticed the Ibanez OD-850 ? Almost mint condition, and just 90€. In fact, I bougth this one + the SS CE-2 for 113€ exaclty, shipping included. What a great deal that was...

The Dods are discussed in a thread nearby. The fact is, they are either crappy or great. I decided to collect them just recently, after havng found the chorus (FX60) wonderful, and the Supra Distortion (FX-55B, omitted on this pic) kinda great.

Ibanez pedals are something like Boss, brightly colored, and with a unique design. The fact that this design changes over the series makes it even more desirable. There are some really good pieces among them, and not only in the 9 serie or before. If you ever come across the ADL Delay, just buy it, it's a great and often cheap analog delay.

And didn't I allready tell you about the EHX Clone Theory ? A crazy Chorus/Vibrato, payed 22€ shipping included from Germany. The worst Ebay descrption I ever read, it made the reader believe it was a piece of junk, and all it needed was a new footswitch... And the comsetic condition is like new, for a 30 years old EHX pedal, it's just a miracle.

But I'll have to stop there, because I could spend the whole night speaking of every pedal in there... How I got it, how much, and how I love it...

Basstyra,

I`m always up for a trade. Which ones of yours are eligible for trade?
