Best thing for us is if you can take a lot of high-res pics of the internals - particularly around the areas where the tech has done work.

I understand that, but its actually a hassle for me to visit my tech just to take photos. If I must, I will do that soon but I was hoping my next visit would be to take home the DD2. Im going to see what other info I can find and wait to see if anyone can chime in with a good pic of the mod. Im being helped in other forums as well.
Thanks

Are you expecting the feedbacks/repeats to be cut, or the original sound's highs to be cut?

The highs, and if possible, the lows if I can assign the switch to do that too.
I do not want the repeats to be altered in anyway, but for some reason they are being greatly affected.
thanks

Just as a follow up, my tech got the DD2 hi-cut mod working.
It does not sound like an analog delay but the mellow repeats are amazing and they definitely add a very nice touch to the DD2.
Kinda glad I went through the headache.
Major GAS relief.
.1 and .047 were used I believe.
Thanks for all the help!

check out the other thread about it on HCFX http://acapella.harmony-central.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2172035 Analog Mike chimed in as well.

Thats the mod is suppose to do, cut the repeats
If you want to cut the original sound, play it in stereo out with an EQ in the Direct Out, and mix the two back together.

I had the understanding that this mod was merely a frequency cut and that's all but I guess the value of capacitor used has an effect on the repeats too. Anyway, I love the way my old/new DD2 sounds now. Very pleased with the result.
