Another gig picture of mine, from 2 years ago. I'm at the right, with my blue Yamaha.

That is fantastically civilised... and very Irish!
Sorry to disapoint bro but that was a little joke i posted to see the reaction.... ...although i did point out the possibility of such a idea to the bar staff after the gig which was met with a less than enthustiastic reception.... ..trying to get a beer when your standing on the roof of the bar in the middle on a gig isn't easy you know...
The_Doc..great pics...we do a few charity gigs as well bro,in fact if the one planned for the end of January goes ahead i should have some great pics to show as it's in one of the top new venues in Dublin and there will be some of Dublins top models strutting their stuff while we play the backing tunes.... sometimes i hate the music business.... ...... |

Thanks Franzoni and you had me going with the 'beer hatch' thing - I was plucking up the courage to ask you whether you could get us a gig there!
I really hope the charity gigs happen for you and I can't wait to see the pics
You are right too about the music biz being rough sometimes . This might amuse, maybe not our best moment musically or sound quality wise (sound from a camcorder), but as far as fun goes, I certainly enjoyed this part of this particular set and the solo at the end wasn't planned...we kinda got wrapped up in the moment - you'll see what I mean - gigging can be really tough sometimes

PS: the story behind this is that we always have an 'air guitar' compo on our last set and our singer (Mike the mic... ) picks the winners to come up on stage with us for the last number before any encores - he made two great choices, as always |

And here are some pics from my last gig, a Christmas party where we did some 50ies/60ies oldies/R'n'R stuff...I'm the guitarist to the left.

Those Paisleys are killer.. I especially love the "telebass"..
Any gigging pics of me are now over 10 years old.. but here's one which might define my on-stage existence.

and a "classic pic" - the first one of me that my wife ever saw , from a "fringe festival" from which we were banned..

..too bad the guitar was borrowed. Wish I had an RD. |

Elvis' guitar player, James Burton, used one all the time.
More crazy stuff in this video:
- It's got to be the shortest version of the song ever. - Elvis sings "White suede shoes" the first time and - keeps laughing about it the entire song. - The drummer has a double bass-drum
Check it out, fun to watch:

@ Pink Paisley: Is that Fender Champ yours? If so, how do you like the sound? I always loved to have one of those but IMO their a bit expensive for what they do. Do you also think so or do you think it is worth the money?

Hi Joske, oh, that's funny, you screw off the logo, and it seems to be a champ Actually it's a Peavey Classic 20, all tube 15 watts amp with two ECC83 and two EL84 tubes. I bought it about 13 years ago for 550 DM (275 EURO), and even sold my Peavey Classic 50 2x12 afterwards. It's simply great to just carry an 12 kg combo, put a sennheiser e606 in front of it and not hurt your back and arms with a 30 kg combo anymore |
