Dont really want to go much over 100~ or so. Currently in that price range I cant find anything that comes close to the AF-2. I play everything (Except Jazz, not that dedicated yet)... Looking for any other alternatives before I make the hefty purchase.

what kind of flange are you looking for, an in your face BF-3 or a more mellow BF-2 tone? I got both and I really like the mellow tone on the BF-2. The BF-3 is very usable too especially wiht tap tempo. I have also tried the EVH flanger recently which sounds great although i think the price tag is higher on that one. The Voodoo labs flanger is amazing but way out of range.

I'm looking for something very versatile to get a range of sounds from early Floyd, to some nice crazy sounds. I didnt know Voodoo Labs did a flanger tbh, Might have to check it out even if it is out of range.

It happens I tried a BF-3 (I think) and it was pretty bland for my liking. Maybe just not my cup of tea

I don't dig the BF-3 either, tbh I prefer Phaser, Really want the MXR Phase 90 '74 Reissue.

I love my Small Stone too much to consider swapping, even if the MXR sounds solid

Totally slipped my mind... http://www.guitarampkeyboard.com/en/74345 pretty well priced too. I'll definately keep an eye out for one to "try before I buy". Sigh my gf must be sick of going guitar shops

One tiny thing... Does it have that stupid input jack that requires an adaptor (1/8 tip positive or something?) or does it have a normal power jack input thingy I forgot the name for Could I just use a daisy chain coming out of my NS-2?

The EHX electric mistress just has a standard center negative jack.

I dont use Line 6 gear anymore, Dont think much of em. The Maxon flanger was alright, knowing them probably great value for money... The EVH flanger... Hm... It sounded very... EVH Not really me though Think I better try an EHX EM and see how it compares to the AF-2 to my ear

I have a Deluxe Electric Mistress and couldn't live without it. One of the "must have" pedals on the board.

I prefer the EVH Flanger over the Reissue as it has both versions.

I agree with zerksies and Laurie. The Electric Mistress is my favorite. I like the switch that stops the sweep and makes it filter. It's the only flanger I have that has that feature. 8 ^ ]

Try a BF-2b with guitar. It's great. OR.. the HF-2. Don't get me wrong, I love the BF-2, but the other two just occupy their territory so well.
