I really like it, I dont like my Deluxe Memory Man much, the MB is much darker in comparison, and can get a lot of weird sounds.
quote: PunkFloyd, that board looks huge.
Its about 1 metre across, I needed something solid for touring and I got it really cheap ($50Au) so i jumped on it. I hate having all my pedals crammed on top of each other so it works out quite nicely.

Yes, I've got a deluxe memory man, stereo polychorus, microsynth, the worm, stereo electric mistress, 3 big muffs and 3 small stones. |

Well heres an update of my board Since last time ive added the SD1, DS1, DM3 and the Space Echo. Got rid of my RC20XL..didn't have much use for it i found. Favorite pedals at the moment are my 1981 SS DS1 from mrdetail and the DM3 from Shoegazer. Cheers, Jake

| Nice PB1000... I'm thinking of getting one, as I can't reach easily the upper pedals in my gator pedal tote... I hate stomping on my lower pedals' knobs. |

Thanks mansun. You should get one. I find it easy to get to all my pedals with this. Its real good if you change your configuration all the time like i do. Plenty of room. Cheers |

Updated again.
I've got rid of the PB1000 board.
I decided to get a new supply... so eventually bought a Diago Powerstation. Plenty of power and it's very quiet.
Also, gone back to what I did over 10 years ago, and put the pedals on a bit of wood, fixed with velcro. This time though I used some ridiculously grippy heavy-duty-strength-velcro.
Anyway here it all is...

Haven't been by in a while.
Went from this....

To this

I got rid of any pedal that didn't make a cool sound. The LMB-3 Submarine and Volume pedal went bye bye and the funds went towards the purchase of a car.
The LMB-3 was a good little compressor but I'm leaning towards an EBS Multi-comp. Apparently there are some folks that rave about how good they sound with the bass amp I use (a Gallien Kruger MB2-500).
Also Os at Music Electronix is making an updated "Designer Edition" Submarine (The yellow pedal on the older picture). It's supposed to have more knobs and switches,...so I'm looking forward to those hitting the market.
Still got nothing but love for my SD-2 and my OC-2 and the TU-2 is just a great workhorse tuner. |

Nice setups....really like the board jake.. plus the simplicity and the 'all you really need' vibe of Paul H's and Warwick Hoys... |

@warwick how do you find reaching the upper pedals? I have the same gator pedalboard and I'm leaning towards placing all my pedals next to my feet and leaving the rest of the pb empty for the moment, but I'll be buying more pedals and eventually I'll run out of space with this set up. I just hate stomping on my pedals' knobs when I try to stomp on those up there. Do you have the same problem?
I don't know if I'll do some bricolage and make a retractable riser or something like that |

Yeah,...as a bassist it's hard for me to find a use for delays, chorus and flangers and not for lack of trying. For me it's mainly boost, fuzz, and filters. I really do want a Moog Bass Murf and some synths.

You mean like this?

As you can see I had mine set up like that for a moment but I had them close to the top of the board. Not sure why,...that's just how it happened.
Having the two rows is a little tricky but you get used to it. After the new year I plan on expanding my FX a lot and am thinking about several solutions to the multi row issue. One idea is using two Pedaltrain minis but I'm also considering a True Bypass Strip from Loop Master, in which case I just use one of the larger Pedaltrains or one of the Emma AmARHylls. I'm leaning towards the TBP strip because then I can put several FX in one loop and eliminate some tap dancing. |

| well, yeah, but closer to the bottom instead to the top. I don't know if I'll get used to the two rows, our other guitarist has a long 'rockbag' or something like that, quite useful. |

Here is our other guitarist's lent flanger falling from my pedalboard and being replaced by a BF-3

I hated those knobs of the rocktron...
A pitchblack is coming this xmas (I hope), and then I'll start the search for a MIT CE-2 as I can't afford a MIJ. |
