look at this poor, bedraggled SD-1:

you know what they say about the company you keep. (just kidding -- I have more Boss pedals than DOD pedals, but not by much.) it's too bad about the missing nobe, though.

Hi pawnshop_trash
I'd be happy yo have it in my pedal collection.
I have one that's very beat up, but still has all its knobs.

You mentioned you have Dod Pedals,
Have you got a FX84 Milk Box compressor, or have you used or tried one out?
Regards Dr. Bob

actually, my beloved MIJ SD-1 is only in slightly better shape than the one in that auction, but mine likewise has all its 'nobes'.

and by coincidence, I recently did get a Milk Box (with the original 'udder' graphics), but haven't had a chance to really play with it yet. I think my favorite DOD pedal thus far is the Classic Fuzz (a jr. Big Muff!), and I think the wobbly-ness of 2 chorus circuits in the Stereo Turbo Chorus (or is it the Turbo Stereo Chorus?) will also be fun....

Hi pawnshop_trash
With the Udder Graphics,, can you mail me a pic of it?
Or maybe post it up here on the Forum?

I recently found a Dod Mystic Blues Overdrive
It just nails the sound I have been searching for, it's subtle & it can get dirty, but never overpowering.
I also found an FX9 delay, this one you will have to try to get for your collection.
But it can sell for a heap of $$$.

Mail me when you have your Dod site up & running
I will be happy to give you the details of the Dod pedals that I have.
I can even take some pic for you if you're interested.

What did you pay for the milk Box Compressor? I have a clip of it running & it sounds very sweet & transparent.
If you are ever thinking of getting rid of it ........

thanks Dr. Bob, I might take you up on yr kind offer! (I need to open up all 40+ of my DOD pedals first.)

I'll post a pic of an udder-graphics Milk Box momentarily in a new thread in the Non Boss forum. I paid $45 (incl. insured S&H) for mine, but it was made in USA/dead mint condition.

and by coincidence, I also just bought a Made in USA/dead mint Mystic Blues overdrive but only used it long enough to verify that it worked before buying it. maybe this weekend....

and thanks for the DFX9 tip. I only have one of the DFX series so far, the DFX5 distortion, but I'll be on the lookout for 'em....

Hi
When you get a DFX9
Open it up & have a look inside, it is a simple looking pedal, but it has a very complex IC doing the delay.

It's about 800mS, but some people claim it's 1 second (1000mS)
& the controls are very responsive.

I does nice, infinite repeats.
The keyboard Synth. players love this pedal.

Someone told me that there is also a DFX91 ???
