Okay we have talked about this before
http://www.bossarea.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=693
Let us see if we can get any further as in finding out at what serialnumber the Momentory Switch went, and alongside of that discussion we can also look at any further cosmetic details and veriations in the older pedals.
So far I have now three Momentory Switch pedals, and one of them has a silver coilspring around the switch, both other pedals have a black coilspring around the switch.
Okay here are the details:
TW-1 S/N 7300, Silver Screw, Momentory Switch with silverspring coil, colour batt. clip: Grey, text reads: Touch Wah and has the long dash, Metal case is slightly larger compared to T-Wah, contains one hole colour is slightly lighter when compared to T-Wah, Label says: Power DC-9V
S/N 9500, Silver Screw, Black Switch, colour batt. clip: Grey, text reads: T-Wah, Metal case is slightly smaller compared to Touch Wah, and the edges are slightly rounder, contains two holes, colour is somewhat darker compared to Touch Wah. Label says: Power DC-9V
OD-1 S/N 7900 Silver Screw, Momentory Switch with Black Springcoil around the switch. Colour batt. clip: Dark Grey, Metal case contains one hole, colour is slighly darker compared to my other OD-1. Label reads: Power DC-9V
S/N 9909 [could be 8808 as the ink is thick and it is hard to tell what it really says, find the number at the end unusual.] Black Screw, black switch, 2 holes in Metal case, label says: Boss AC adaptor but does mention:Use a coin to open...........[ all other pedals mentioned so far have this text as well, but that is what we would expect eh?!]
DS-1 S/N 8800 Silver Screw, momentory switch with a black springcoil around it, colour batt. clip: Grey, colour metal case is lighter than later versions, does contain the long dash, 1 hole in Metal case, label reads: Power DC-9V
Now for the purpose of this topic we would need another silver screw DS-1 but this time one without the momentory switch, but ..............that is where I need the help from some of you.
So far from my own pedals mentioned here it seems that the momentory switch went when the S/N get into the 9000's.
