Just something random... I've wondered about this for a while now. If I was them, I'd want to hear what my users had to say, and this is the absolute best "no bull" location on the web.
I wonder if there is a Japanese gentleman in a back-room somewhere translating madly...?

heh... this just popped an image from the movie lost in translation when the director is saying like 300 words and ripping his hair out and the translator goes "with more... intensity"
just in case they are reading...
if i had any input towards them i believe they should choose their pedals and control settings by vote from a council of elders that are all tone snobs. impose a maximum of 3-knobs rule to ensure the solid tones are dialed in. i see too many 5-6 knob chorus/flangers/phasers that would be better off with rate, depth, and something else worth manipulating as a 3rd knob. the only bad sounding boss pedals i ever see are always done by user error on pedals with too many controls for someone who doesn't have a refined ear. if/when the CE-6 comes about, i'd rather have it be closer to a CE-2 than a CE-5 with a few more stacked pots on it :) |

Oh yeah... I really did laugh out loud at that. Good movie. Good line I'm sure my co-workers are right now wondering where the levity came from in this workplace... |

On the stats page I can see the last referring pages. Quite often, the English-Japanese google translator pops up so we do have a few Japanese people translating the pages. Whether they're Roland employees are a different question.
I'd like to think that the new Slicer effect is released partly as a result of it being wished for a few times here on the forum but it's probably wishful thinking |

It's called Data Mining, and there are numerous companies that perform this service for corporations such as Roland. I would think that Rolands competition is also paying attention. |

I does. It's the browser that needs the correct character set to display it. If you're using IE, right click, press encoding and Japanese. Don't know how to do it in Firefox. |

According to the translator, you said: "You must make afterwards, unless perhaps, Japanese everything it helps a little. I would like to transact in order my own cosm pedal not to do, actually, (as for desired them book-reading)"

There is a very nice woman working at Roland Scandinavia, and as I understand it shes a huge Metal fan. I know she looks into these pages now and then; sometimes I give her a clue. She has answered lots of questions coming from me (or the forum, directed by me) over the last years. And guess, I got he impression that she more or less hate synthesizers and crap like that.

That's no way near what I wrote If that is the kind of translation the Japanese get when they translate this forum, I wonder what pedal they come up with the next time |
