Here's what I have found regarding variations on the OD1 circuit:


(PCB CODE/OPAMP)

(052-281B/RC3403ADB)
(052-281B/NEC-JAPAN#956;PC4741C)

(052-281D/JRC4558C)
(052-281D/JRC4558D)
(052-281D/TL4558P)

(052-281E/NEC C4558C)
(052-281E/JRC4558D)
(052-281E/JRC4558DD)
(052-281E/JRC4558DX)

(052-281E TAIWAN/NEC C4558C)

Ten "versions" all with the same model number (OD1). Not to mention whatever other changes may have been made to the circuit!

I can add another version:

my OD-1 had a 052-281D pcb and a NEC C4558C opamp.

But I modified my OD-1 to the specs of an older OD-1. with a 052-281B/NEC �PC4741C.

If the Boss Company reads this and all other things that has surfaced during this forums short existence we would have a Boss Book twice as informative. IF they ever will release a second edition. Let�s hope this happens.

Thanks. Together with the summary in the OD-1 evolutions thread
(http://bossarea.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=19), this gives a very good view of the different OD-1s in existance.

I'll see if I can add this info to the OD-1 page in the gallery pages.

Maybe bossarea will become far better than any "official" book could ever be. We're getting closer all the time with all of this new information we're uncovering!
