Everyone is fine! Guitars & equipment are fine. House is a F#@%ing MESS!
Firefighters went out of their way to cover my gear with tarps.

You can see me @ 9seconds into the vid. Green Med pants & gray shirt.
My God do I look pleased!!!

Screw Sony & Nintendo, Omaha Fire fighters are "MY Guitar Heroes!!!"

Hey TD

This is really bad news Chris.
I read this earlier today at work, but I wasn't able to reply.
I'm glad to hear all are OK

Are you able to still live in the house for now?
Do you have to find alternate accommodation?

Are you Ok for some cash?
Do you need a bit of a helping hand for a while?
Don't be scared to ask for help.
Let us know.

Very concerned for you & the family
Regards Bob

PS - I sent you a PM, & please stay in touch.

Lived through something similar - arson, one person died, serious damage to the rest of the building but we escaped ok - some 20 years ago, so you have my total sympathy.

P.S. CHECK YOUR SMOKE ALARMS - YOUR LIFE IS WORTH MORE THAN THE PRICE OF A 9v BATTERY.

We should replace smoke detector batteries every time we need to replace any Boss compact batteries.
This way, we'll always have fresh in the detectors & sag in effectors.

TD - so glad that you are all ok.

I used to play soccer with a load of guys, many who are fire fighters here in the UK - all are top blokes and I'm glad their colleagues in the USA were there for you when you needed them (and for your guitars & kit too!)

Hope everything quickly returns to normal for you all - it must be tough. Look after yourself.

Thanks guys!
for all your support.
So far, we're cool. Bit of a pain in the arse, to be expected, but all is well, so to speak. I appreciate your comments and support. I fear the worst is yet to come, with renovations. I'm already coming unglued on the methodology that certain powers that be subscribe to. We'll see, one day at a time, or else I will explode.
TD may have just changed to TDB (Timed Detonation Bomb). We'll see!!!
Was it Zerk that had me in the crosshairs??? Pull, pull, pull!!!
Thanks for you concerns & wishes of wellness. I hope "this day" finds you in a state of acceptable wellness.
Thanks guys,
T-D

Like the good Doctor said..let us know if we can help in any way...i used to work in construction(i'm a plumber) but i'm also handy with a lot of other stuff i've picked up over the years so any advice i can give on any D.I.Y stuff you might be attempting........

Glad to hear your all ok and your gear survived, the fire fighters sound like real good guys.........

i've had a few scary moments over the years with fires on construction sites we were working on...one of our guys welding in a roof top boilerhouse/plantroom nearly burned down one of our main hospitals once when the roof went on fire....we caught it just in time with fire extingushers and a hose reel but it got the blood flowing through the body for sure.....a real " OH S**T " moment.............
