does anybody here know how to really tell the difference between a nice old ds1 made in japan and a ds1 made in taiwan? i might purchase one and i just want to be sure... any suggestions?
The DS-1 was made in Japan up until around 1988 so they should all have Made in Japan printed both on the black bottom label and on the serial number sticker in the battery compartment. Internally they should all have the Toshiba TA7136AP opamp.
