Funny you mention that, because I have actually been single for the past 2 years, and I think we all know why now |

That Douglas Ash tele is a real thing of beauty. I got a little excited when I saw it. |

You need now 7 STRATS to vary your Tele weeks a little
Or maybe 7 LES PAULS............... |

Hi Jack
Some ticky questions, just make sure that the Tele family isn't listening to your reply.
Which Tele do you spank/play the most daily-weekly0monthly? Which one sounds the best? Which one, is the one you would gig with?
And is that a Wilkinson on the Douglas ash?
Fifth question, a bit off topic: How are all your electronic studies going?
Regards Dr. Bob |

Antique Burst & Black Fat Telecaster tend to get the most useage, as I still find I like that PU set up the best for the Telecaster, and out of that, I think the AB sounds the best. Haven't really gigged in a long time, so I am not sure who would get to go with me.
That is a Wilkinson on the Douglas. Its setup as a toploader, but its the bridge that comes stock with holes for top loading AND stringing-thru, so if I ever feel like it, I can make it a string through, but right now I will keep it as is....
As far as electronics, straight A's but the 2nd year might be a bit harder because now they'll expect us to know stuff, whereas in the first year, its ok if you don't know some stuff... |

I'm not really a Strat guy, but Les Pauls...maybe, but they would be non-Gibson & non-Epiphone Les Pauls most likely cause I think their guitar prices are ridiculous... |

I would highly recommend MIJ Tokai's and early Greco's and Orville's. Better quality than most standard Gibsons, but for only a fraction of Gibson prices. |

+1 on the tokai's.....i'm not too familar with the greco's and the orvilles...i thought the orvilles were a japan only issue and not rest of the world....??..i can recommend the yamaha SG series...i have the 2000s and it's a very high spec guitar that would easily mix with any les paul...in fact i've been listening to a little bit too much robben ford lately so this is going with me to the gig tonight..... ...i've already changed the strings........... ........... |
