I got a HF-2 today. Serial number decodes to January 1986, making it the oldest piece of gear I've got (oh, wait, that's another topic ). It's in pretty decent shape, a few paint nicks, one of the original knobs is missing (I believe that the one it is replaced with is taken from a boss microrack) and plays wonderfully. I'll post pictures later, in a dedicated topic. I paid 40 euro for it.
Seriously, I love it already, it can be tweaked to sound like a chorus or a common flanger, it'll surely keep me occupied for a long time.

Quite a nightmare.

The SD-2 has both symmetrical & asymmetrical clipping circuits in it. symmetrical clipping = sort of like in the DS-1 asymmetrical clipping = sort of like in the SD-1
I just got the schematic, so I am still browsing over it.
Regards Dr. Bob BTW RRV-10, I'm live near Berwick in Vic. if you want a loan of it.

Well, I'm in Melbourne so I could definitely take you up on that , though I'll settle if you tell me how it compares to the OD-3. |

Ha ha ha I like the idea of the pedal library Dr Bob!
Sure beats your sons 'borrowing' your pedals and leaving them to rot under the bed!

Hi RRV-10 I'm sorry mate, as for now I don't have a OD-3, So I am unable to give you a comparison, Stratosphere & a few others here, seem to have just about every pedal under the sun.
Perhaps they will be kind enough to leave comments.
Regards Dr. Bob |

I know the feeling, I'm getting impatient because my Memory Man has taken nearly 2 weeks and I want to use it I'm also still angry at missing out on a PN-2 a while back and have been hunting one for a reasonable price (ie under $100) but my search has been unfruitful so far . |

Just got a boxed DD-3, MIJ, October 1988. It's the first version, identical to the DD-2.
I got it for a work on a Fender Blues Deluxe. It's good to deal with musicians, sometimes...
Now I'm only a DD-5 away from having the whole Digital Delay collection. |
