Question for all.. What's the deal with the SP-1? What exactly does it do? I've read the info that Bossarea put up on the main page, but I still don't see a specific need, unless it does something "magical" within those frequencies.
Hi MervsMods, like it says here on Bossarea, it is a single band parametric EQ. I've got 2 of them, a 6400 and 6500. I use it all the time as it adds just the right amount of sparkle to my overdrive and distortion pedals. My other para EQ just doesn't do it as well(PQ9). It is highly collectable becuase it didn't sell well when new so there aren't many out there! But it is a great circit!
