Yay its tomorrow! The little beastie was waitin' for me to get home & show it some love.
I particularly like the Analog mode. The Modulate mode is alright I suppose. It should be fine with strong cleans so I'll probably need to switch the BD-2 back to the OD-3 in front of it.
Just a note: I didn't try this in all modes yet but in Analog if you switch the pedal off, the trailing delays end very much sooner by not repeating as many times. Compare it to a staccato chord that trails for a looooong time before dying out. It still sounds natural though. |

Hi Defrag
I ask this question to boss area before but do you reckon you could put a film on youtube of you using the DD-7 w/ a expression pedal to make the feedback only more strong. It would be great as I would definitely be wanting a DD-7 if it does that. If anybody else
Regards

Mine's been on order for weeks. No sign of it yet :-(
On a slightly unrelated topic... I'm thinking of trading my Digitech DF-7 in on it (to help cover the $150 cost). What do you think? Is the DF-7 worth keeping? |

Laurie: GTA Long & McQuades are already stocking the DD-7.. seeing as how they come from the West, you should be seeing it any time
I was fiddling with it the other day and think it's the best current production BOSS product.. much nicer than the DD-6 to my ears. Modulate mode really sweetened up what I heard played - I can see a use for it.
The EV-5 trick is great as well, but a little touchy. A modded Ernie Ball volume would make a nicer expression pedal.

I would sell the DF-7 for some more BOSS! |

I love mine I've had it for about 2 weeks from GC. It is the best current boss pedal out, I never liked the dd-6 sound and this is super. |

Just called L&M - DD-7 is in transit from TO. Should be here next week
Yah, I think I'll trade my DF-7 on it. The only thing I really use it for is the Big Muff emulation, and I'm going to build a Big Muff clone (parts are on order from Small Bear), so I think it's gonna go...

It has arrived
I pick it up tomorrow. Will be trading my Digitech DF-7 in on it (the first pedal to leave the stable since the crappy Behringer compressor). |

Yes indeed... It's here. And IT'S GOOD. Fantastic!
THe analog mode isn't a DM-2. A-B with my DM-2 the DD-7 is more controlled and "less rough" (those endearing attributes of the DM-2). BUT... it's pretty darn good and A-B with my Ibanez DL5 the DD-7 in analog mode is more analoggy.
And it simply P!SSES all over my Behringer DD100 - the DD100 has been a good work-horse but it's gonna go I think.
Best of all - it is true stereo and sits in my stereo output chain.
Boffo, Boss! A good one!!
S/N: ZW81202, part of the first shipment to Western Canada, arrived 6 June 2008. |

I bought my DD-7 along with another wah pedal.its pretty good kept me occupied for three hours and my ADD cant go past an hour
i also bought a Zakk Wylde Wah pedal which is ok but it screeches a bit on the toe switch
My favorite thing about the DD-7 is the hold mode its relly good for layering a rhythm track down and soloing over it |

| I bought a faulty DD-3 on saturday, so I'll be exchanging it for a DD-7 at some time this week (plus some more cash)... What's your opinion on the DD-7? Is it good? does it affect tone negatively? Does it have power supply issues? |
