| Do you still sell the kits or whatever you call them in the other thread? If so I'd like to buy two, one for a ds-1 and one for a sd-1. I'm trying to decide on which ones though. |

Darrin:
yah, i still have em. i have a mix & mash of extra components as well.
basically, i'm not "restocking" anything so when i run out of certain components, i can fill partial kits.
right now i have enough to do a few of each.
most people who want DS-1 kits from me go with the Ultra mod, install just the SEM part of it and then see if they want to upgrade it to the ultra and/or add a switch.
for SD-1 mods i've done a few of them. my personal favorite is the full-drive 2 conversion. |

| You read my mind on the mods. I'll buy the DS-1 Ultra Mod and the SD-1 Full-Drive 2 Conversion. I want the extra/optional things you list for both mods. Especially this "Op Amp Socket (allows you to easily switch between chips)" on the SD-1. I don't have PayPal yet, so lets work out the details in private messages or something. I'll be on the board tomorrow so send me a message when you can. As for now, Goodnight. |

Hi Zentropa
Te send an email via the forum:
Click on the second icon from the left (Email Poster), in one of DarrinPA's emails. It's the icon that looks like the nib of an old fountain pen over a sheet of paper.
Not the 3rd icon - Yellow pencil one.
Hope this helps.
Regards Dr. Bob |

Thanks Dr. Bob, but i've sent emails via here before.
since you have admin power it's likely that the option is available to you, but as a standard user, his email is currently hidden. |

Hi Zentropa
I hope I didn't sound condesending?
If I log in as a guest from another browser. I don't see anyone's email, as it should be.
But as a registered user, you should be able to see his email.
Are you logged in as a registered user? The forum sometimes drops me out, & I have to re-log in.
Can you take a snapshot of what you see, when you are logged in. You have my PM.
Regards Dr. Bob |

Dr. Bob, there is no option to see his email - there is just a button that sends an email to the recipient's email, but the system hides the actual address. |

Im thinking about a Keeley OD or Dist pedal at the moment.
Whats the general opinion on the Keeley SD-1 (5 Star Mod), Keeley DS-1 (Ultra Mod) and Keeley BD-2 (Phat Mod).
Reason im asking is i think i want a good versitile OD/Dist for my "Boss Pedalboard" project im doing. |

if you had to pick one of those, i'd go DS-1.
the 5star left something to be desired. it's tone is nice but just didn't do it for me. the BD-2 is too clean to be a primary dirt box unless you're just looking for a tube amp booster.
the seeing eye mod sounds a lot like EVH's brown sound. |
