HI, I just bought and DS2, with a lot of rust inside and all transistors have rusted legs, so I need to change all transistors and some caps.
I have spare C1815(a lot) and K30, also I have a death CS3...But I dont know : 1. Replacement for C3378 are C1815 but Legs are in the same position? I mean Can I replace directly without leg change?
2. Replacemente for 2SA1048GR, 2SK184GR and 2SA1335 ... Can I use C1815 or another from death CS-3?

2SC1815 and 2SC3378 are pin compatible. The order is ECB on both.
You can do an additional test with the diode tester of your multimeter to be 100% sure.
The 2SC1335 and 2SA1048 are of pnp type, 2SC1815 will not work here, try something like a BC169 or BC259 here.
The 2SK184GR is a JFET, again 2SC1815 will not work. Try the 2SK30ATM from your "dead" CS3 here.
Happy New Year to everyone. |

Hi
When we are not around to help you as in. - Working. - Sleeping. - Family time. - When we just don't know.
In the Mods & Technical section. We have posted a Sticky thread with links to many free Semiconductor & IC Datasheets.
Free Online Chip Datasheet Sites: http://www.bossarea.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1881
While everyone probably has their own favorites, When at home, I typically tend to use:
http://datasheet4u.com/ http://www.datasheetcatalog.com/
They both allow you to download PDF's for "FREE"
Many people do not appreciate how great these sites really are. Where I work, we pay about $180US per year to get similar data.
Regards Dr. Bob |

I replaced transistors and caps. It is working on bypass but when I push the switch led is on but no sound....
What other components need to be changed? |
