Hello members :)

First of all, thank you very much for this beautyfull site! Great! I learn a lot from this site. Looks good

Let me introduce my self:
i'm Robert, 22 years and live in the Netherlands (east of Holland).
I'm playing the guitar since i was 12/13 years old. My first Boss pedal was a Boss HM-2 Heavy Metal (before this, i'v got a Ibanez CM-5 and TS-5, both from the Soundtank series). Great pedal but my kind of pedal ;) so this one was saled after 4 months. After the HM-2 adventure, i buy a Boss ME-50, great multi effect and very easy to use. Now, a couple of years later i've got 18 Boss pedals (only compact pedals) and im very proud at it. I love those things, especially the older Boss pedals like the CE-2, OD-1 and PH-1(r).
Ofcourse i made a couple of pictures from my collection (wtf is a topic without pictures ), so here we go:

(couple of guitars from me, all Epiphone. I've got also a Fender Richie Sambora mex, Epiphone Sheraton, Epiphone LP Junior P90 and a Squier Telecaster)

Hehe, nice collectors item complete and orginal!

No pictures from it, but i'm playing on a Marshall DSL 50 head (new, since a week! Love it) with a Marshall 4x12" JCM800 limited (red, from 1995), Maquis 100 watt tube head (Marshall plexi imitation) with a Marshall 2x12" cab (4x12" size cab). And i've got a Randall combo RG75. This one go's away and maybe a Marshall JCM800/900 combo comes back

So, this is it for now!

Cheers, Robert

P.s. sorry for my English, terrible but i hope to learn better

Welcome bossfreak.

That is quite an introduction. I don't think you'll have any problem fitting in around here.

Hello and welcome bossfreak, for a moment I thought that the “legendary” boss freak had come back to the forum. From him we haven´t heard anything since 2006.

Hello guys!

Thanks to you all for the answers.

SP-1: Danke sehr! Ich bin ein bischen eifersüchtig auf dein SP-1 welches ort kommst du aus Deutschland? (translate: thank you! i'm a bit jealous on youre SP-1 Witch place in Germany do you life?).

Joske Turbo: yeah, the boxart is really cool! The boxart from the FBM is also nice. I'm very curious to the boxart (and ofcourse the pedal ) from the new Boss Fender reverb

Goran: No, i'm really new in the game A couple of years back, i saw this site but never thought that there was a complete Boss forum! that was new for me, so i registered by a couple of days back.

Ronster: thank you! The story behind the Pedal test display is this:

For 3 years back, i was working in a local guitarstore. I working there for 6/7 years as a shopassistant. Every hour after school, i was there. Learn at lot of things there. For 3 years back, the owner of the shop was stopped with the shop. The building was let to another guy and is now a gameshop. Everything (guitars, drum, amps, effectpedals and so on) go's away for very low prices. Even the display's, racks and al thats things. Never know that there was also a Boss display (i think this thing stands for years in the storage) so i ask the owner how much the Boss display cost. He said 10 euro! Hell yeah! So thats the story about the Boss pedal test display. Its in good condition (actually brand new). Even the orginal power supply. When i've time, i will make a couple of pictures from it

Regards, Robert

Hi Robert, another dutchy!

Earlier this year i asked a local shop owner if he had old Boss stuff lying around somewhere and he said he had the pedal-test rack in his basement and if i was interested i could pick it up the next week for free! Unfortunately later that week i got a call from the guy: turned out his wife gave it away last year to another boss freak, pity.

I saw your reply to SP-1, he's not a german! he's dutch just like us!

Why so much Epi's? for that amount spent on Epi's you could easily buy yourself a Gibson.

Anyway, welcome!

Eddie

Yes I'm dutch only living in Germany. But thanx for the kind words

Once visited a music store which had just moved 200 km and asked the guy if he had boss stuff lying around, well not anymore and the guy said: "so I guess you were interested in a boss pedal tester ? Just dumped it at the landfill last week"
