I have almost 40 BOSS pedals that to most of them the battery screw rubber was tore out or just become worn out. Does any body have any clue where I can get a replacement rubber?
as we all know, the rubber grommet that interacts with the battery access thumbscrew tends to wear out or fall apart (or is sometimes AWOL on used pedals). FYI, a close replacement should be available at most larger/'big box' hardware stores (Crown Bolt Inc.'s size 5/16" grommet, made of neoprene rubber; look in the 'fasteners' aisle). of the 3 sizes I tried (9/32", 5/16" and 3/8"), the 5/16" size was best fit.
The ones I bought were about $2 US for 5 or 6 rubber grommets. That was at Lowe's or Home Depot. I guess outside of North America, getting them from Roland is the way to go.
