Check out the pic on this auction
http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=270101993099&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=017

I emailed them and asked if the actual pedal had a silver screw. No response. Of course. Plonkers.

that's a stock photo. I've even seen recent paper mail-order catalogs from American Musical Supply (or was it Musician's Friend?) that used the same photo. still, the seller should visit bossus.com for a new photo.

Pictures of a silver screw DS-1 pop up all the time, IMO always ask for a picture of the 'real' advertised goods.

Oh yeah, it's obvious it's new pedals and an old pic... almost what I'd call a "bait-and-switch" though.

I'm not a fan of 'non-item' or stock photos. I always ask for emailed original photos or I bid 'ridiculously low'. I have had *some* luck doing this, but, not I don't recommend it for getting stuck with something you cannot repair or really is not what you wanted. Ebay is so simple, even a crap cell phone pic is better than NO pic.
