Sunburst asked what guitars you use and as, with pedal-use, the amp is at least equally important for the desired result. When gigging I use a Fender Blues Junior, 80s Fender Concert or SF 50 W Fender Bassman. At home I use Blues Junior (when nobody is sleeping ), Tech 21 Trademark 10 or Roland Micro Cube (sometimes 2 of them to get nice stereo with chorus). Im a big fan of the Micro Cube, the cleaner settings.

I use a Hughes & Kettner 50 watt solid state amp. Not a very expensive amp, but with a really good clean sound.
I have many times considered buying a more expensive "boutique" amp, but have really found no real reason for it as long as my HK keep delivering the goods, and are so compatible with Boss pedals... |

| Most of the time I use one of my homemade 5W class A amp heads with a Marshall 2x12. I also got a JC-120 that I use for clean sounds. |

| Right now I'm using a marshall 9004 SS preamp. I'm looking for the right power amp to go with it right now. |

| A Tech21 Trademark 120. I also have a Fender "The Twin", a Marshall AVT50, an Ampeg V-2 w/ Marshall 4x12, a Kustom 250-4, and a Line 6 pod, but the Tech 21 goes to gigs with me. |

My new favorite amp is my new (used) Marshall Lead 100 Mosfet head. It was a toss up between that or keeping my old preamp (it would have been more expensive to keep the preamp). |

For the guitar, I'm using a Pod XT Pro plugged into a Marshall 9200 (2x100w with tubes). I could play in stadiums with that amp !!! There are 8 tubes in there if I remember well...
For the bass, I have an Ampeg B2R which is quite nice but I'm willing to find a bigger amp (this one's 200w with transistor) with tubes, to match with the sound of my Fender Jazz Bass V. |

* Laney VH100R head (monster loud, monster gain, 10 f*cking tubes inside, no diode clipping either!)
* Marshall 1960A 4x12 cab (with made in England Celestion's and not the new chinese ones)
* Peavey Bandit 112 from the 90's (the most reliable SS combo ever) |

Tell me what you think of the sound(s) you can get from the Peavey Bandit.
Grace and peace,
