Here's some pix of Joe Satriani's current pedal board from another forum I frequent. These were taken at a concert in Kansas City on April 2. Lots of Boss stuff on there.

Have you managed to figure them all out? It looks like he's got an OC-2, DS-1, PS-5, 2 x DD-x (x=3, 5 or 6) and a CE-5. Not really sure about the CE-5 though. The knobs shouldn't have white tops.
Of the non-Boss stuff I only recognice the crybaby wah and the Digitech whammy. |

| i think there is an Electro-Harmonix POG in there. The Peavey thing looks like just a channel switcher for an amp. I've got no clue on the silver box though. |

That's why I posted, bossarea, so you could tell us what they all are.
From the other post, the EH box is a POG. The DS-1 has the Keeley Seeing Eye Mod, I believe & yes, Peavey has a line of JS amps. The big silver box is unknown.
Grace and peace,
Steve |

It could be that the DS-1 has the Ultra mod. There was a story a while ago about Steve Vai giving him one as a present. There was another rumour too saying that Steve Vai had reverted back from the Keeley DS-1 to the stock DS-1. Not sure what's true |

I think the DS-1 is either stock, or if it is one of Keeley's mods, its most likely the Seeing Eye Mod, as it does not look like it has that extra switch the Ultra Mod has. Although if the switch is on the right side of the pedal, instead of the left, as I think Keeley has switched the side the put the switch on, it could be an Ultra Mod.
UPDATED EDIT: I found out what the mystery box is! Check out http://guitargeek.com/rigview/293/ It's a Fulltone Ultimate Octave
This setup is from 2000, but it is pretty much a smaller version of his current setup. Boss DD-2 and CH-1, at least back in 2000.
Check out http://guitargeek.com the site has not been updated in a few years, but you can find out what many players have used in their setups, down to amps, picks, string gauges, and diagrams of setups & pedal chains. |

| You're right. I thought it was a CE-5 but couldn't get the knobs to fit. The CH-1 however, fits the bill perfectly. |

Of the two blue-top delays, one is for sure either a MIJ DD-2 or a MIJ DD-3 because of the larger adapter socket, the other one, with small adapter could be a LATE MIJ DD-3 or a 5 or a 6.
I cannot cross reference this as I am not a satriani fan, but somewhere, there is an article in a guitar mag that spells it all out.
It's fun to see how at least one guitar-playing fan got a good shot of it though.
Speaking of delay boxes, sure would like to know if Edge of U2 actually every used a DD-2? He used the Roland Space Echo, memory man etc, but never have been able to know for sure what he uses.
I have seen on many dvd's one heck of a complicated setup though.
