| everyone has to start somewhere. i don't think you would have any problems with the seller, besides, the pedal looks mint! |

Don't worry about someone with low feedback. I'd only be concerned if they had several negative feedback. Go for it, thats a very good looking pedal. |

| Yeah, I'd be more prone to not buy from guys with 5000 sales and a 97.0 rating...there's your red flag... |

Bought myself a nice NOS MZ-2 a while ago from a seller with zero feedback, it kept other buyers from buying = my luck |

hateandwar - I've probably bought something like 230+ pedals on ebay (mainly from the UK, where I am based but many international deals too)- with all kinds of feedback ratings and out of that lot, probably only 3 have 'gone wrong' in some way - usually the description missed something. If you are not sure, always ask the seller to confirm that the pedal has been tested & is in full working order - this XT-2 looks in great good nick though.
Given my experience, the probability of a transaction going tits up is pretty low unless you are really unlucky. I would go for it. |

I always way up price versus risk. If it's going for a good price, i'd definately risk it. If you can get it for the same price from someone with more feedback, I'd go with them. I have bought from sellers with single figure feedbacks in the past with no issues. Also scored myself decent deals doing it. Use paypal as well, and you should be covered should it all go wrong. |

You can tell a lot ... from a seller ... if you ask questions about the item, how it was used ... how they answer usually gives a lot of their character... and as noted abouve, with Paypal protection and a few questions, you otta be good to go.
SP-1 is bang on. Sometimes you get very poor or inaccurate listings because the seller is NOT a guitar player, maybe just a junk or estate liquidator ... if you don't ask questions to elliminate teh risk. you can use a poor listing to your advantage ... I got a minty DD2 with box, manual, pocket dictionary AND baggy - seller was not a guitar player and simply listed it as a BOSS PEDAL, described it as new condition in the box. I questioned them, and she said her dad died and everything was working because I saw him playing them before he died.; she also said he always took care of this stuff, his cars etc, so that was enough for me, and I got it for less than 1/2 of what DD2s boxed/mint go for lately on eBay. Sorry If I'm repeating myself. Maybe I'm getting desperate to reach platinum membership. Maybe i'm desperate for my 603rd friend on facebook too. I dunno. |

What a great buy. I was lucky to get one of these for $40CAD ... a couple years ago but NOT from eBay.
Nice catch, if I do say so! |
