Hmm. I don't think you can do this with a SPST switch. You'd need at least a SPDT for passive true bypass, wouldn't you...?

Categorically - you can not do true bypass ("unbuffered bypass") with less than a "DPDT ON-ON" switch. This is a "SPST momentary".

it might work for an effects loop type pedal
