I was at a local music shop and had an hour to kill so I decided to play around with the DN-2, seeing as how it has popped up in my dreams on more than one occasion in the past couple weeks.

I found the level knob to be similar to the OD-3 in it's very loud and booster like. As my hopes were super high for this pedal I was let down, but softly like clouds. It is by far the best drive to suit my playing style and it gets pretty heavy, both the drive and my style.

It does exactly what I want it to do, clean finger picks and driven strumming. Though not super clean I was able to get a smooth setting that did not distort my finger picking too much.

Now if I can just come across one like FunkenGrooven here...

Yeah, that was a good deal.

I really liked the DN-2 when I tried it out but I already have enough grit on my boards. I should rethink it though as the sound was good to my ears & I'm due for another Boss pedal.
