Well, at the moment I just have 4 pedals, and the only problem I've got is with the Rocktron hypnotic flange, as it has TOO MANY controls and the knobs easily lose their position.
Or maybe the DD-6 should have an external switch for the tap tempo function, as it happens with the DD-7. |

LS2 will help with the volume thing wouldn't the CE2 volume boost make up for the TR2 volume lose? |

For me there are two types of pedals: Simple, where you get a great sound with little need for many controls (ie DC-2, DS-1, EHX small stone etc...) and Tweakable: pedals that allow all sorts of messing about with the sound they produce (ie PS-3, SYB-5, MoogerFooger pedals).
It depends on what you're doing as to whether or not simple is better. Sometimes I just like to play guitar on a nice sound, other times I like to mess with my pedals more than playing guitar itself. Both methods produce creative results for me.

| I do quite often wish that more Boss pedals had the option of expression pedal control.... I wish the PN-2 had an expression input for rate. That would allow some pretty wild on the fly effects... |

There are many wishes of course, as mentioned volume on TR-2, effect-volume on CE-2 etc But there is one thing that I really would like to see and thats high and low pots on overdrives like BD-2, OD-3 etc. On the Digitech Bad Monkey and Screamin Blues there are such an arrangement and that makes for a lot of possibilities, these controls are really great!

really wish that the PH-1r (or any of the phaser pedals) has a wet/dry blend knob.
Hmmm i'll keep dreaming on that one |

That's awesome Laurie....
Is the circuit difficult to make? The only things I've made from scratch before are simple switching pedals (loopers, A/B etc)...

| I really would like bass, mid, mid freq and treble knobs on my DS-1. It would cover way more sounds if it had that. |

Design was really difficult... but making them now is OK.
You can use an LS-2 to do a similar thing, but what it lacks is the "phase" switch - if you use an LS-2 in this manner on, for example, an MXR Phase 90, it will suck because the Phase 90 inverts the phase and the remix (A+B) kills the signal/tone.

+1
Also, I love the FT-2 as it's very versatile, but it would be even greater if it had separate start and stop frequency controls for the wah sweep rather than a single frequency range knob - Something like the EHX Microsynth. |

it can be done, the output is similar to the CE2B with the effects knob But a LS2 or Lauier's pedal would be easier |
