Most effects that are made for bass will probably work with guitar, but probably won't get the most out of the effect as most bass effects have different values in some of the components to make them more suited for the lower bass frequencies. If its at the store, I would try it out though with a guitar to see what happens. Have you ever thought of just a regular Dunlop Wah? Those are more afforadeble, and does not have the 'kick-on', you have to step on it. In fact, usually its the Dunlop signature and Fuzz/Wahs that have the kick on feature. Other alternatives for Wahs that have a separate on/off switch are: The Ibanez Weeping Demon Wah http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Ibanez-WD7-Weeping-Demon-Wah-Pedal?sku=150344
And most of the Morely Wahs: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/navigation?q=Morely+wah
(I know Musicians Friend doesn ship overseas, but it was the first place I could think of to give you links easily for both brands of pedals I mentioned...) |
