| Hello everyone - newbie here to the forum but not to Boss. It has been a long strange journey for me and pedals. Started with DOD to Boss to a mix of Boss/MXR that now live on my board. Recently I acquired a Boss DD-20 and I was curious if anyone had some cool settings that they would like to share? |

My YouTube video of the DD20 can be found Here
I used the Analog & Tape modes. One in memory, one in manual, and just switched between them.
As is usual for me everything you're hearing is from the pedalboard and straight to the desktop speakers... no amps. |

Welcome to the forum thejay!
There are a infinite number of cool settings on DD-20, but Ill give you one of my special tricks for loop guitar of the Fripp/Eno type:
Set effect level at 12.00, feedback max, delay type standard (12.00), delay time anything from 2 seconds to maximum. Play something that makes a loop you like and let it run, you can add as much notes as you want. Turn off the delay with the left pedal and jam over the looped music. Now you can add a second loop over the first one by hitting the right pedal to shift memory(you can have what setting you like here). Then you can jam over the two loops by pressing the left pedal. Of course you dont need to do a second loop, you can use the memory setting as you like.

Thanks Goran.
I have been messing with the DD-20 for a few days and it is fun to tweak. Endless options...I haven't found any settings worth saving over the presets that are in there though. |

I've tweaked and played with mine so much that I eventually have 3 settings I use alot. I can't even remember what the original presets were, but I remember thinking they were a bit basic. |

OK - finally spent some time playing with the DD-20; wow! I can not believe I did not buy this pedal before. I'm simply amazed at all the varations you can get from this pedal. From a Chorus, Flanger, Ring Mod and a insane amount of delay options! I think I could replace some of my other pedals if I got another one of these. Unforunately that is not a real space saver on my board though and the other single pedal effects sound warmer than the DD-20 but if I had to take one pedal with me everywhere I think this would be it especially since I can save my 4 favorites. Very impressed - GOOD JOB BOSS! |

| A basic guitar, a basic amp, and a DD20 is all anyone should really need. |

| Anyone know the setting that Nuno uses on "Flight Of The Wounded Bumblebee"? I can't seem to find it online! |

| Look at the settings in the book. I personally like the ones given. I have a DD-20 and you need to get the footswitch or make one to have control over the tap tempo without having to hold the right side down for 2 sec. Get it and the creation of anything you want is at your toes. |
