If you buy a standard cheap "block logo" MXR Phase 90 there is a really simple "script" mod for it. Just did it to mine and it sounds awesome!
Clip out R28, R32, C11, and C12. And if you are game, solder a piece of wire across R31 to short it out.

My wish list is FAR too long to put it all here (at least 40 rare Boss compacts), but I am keeping a serious eye out for in the second hand market locally for a few things. Of course, if the usual suspects of SG-1/SP-1/VB-2/etc/etc ever came up I'd be all over it, but I'm trying to be realistic in my list in this thread
- RC20XL - Russian EHX stuff (built like tank) - Marshall VT-1 vibratrem - Original 60's blackface Fender amp - Arion SCH-1 - FV-500H and L |

A DS-1 at the moment...
Other than that I'm looking for British crunch ala JTM45, so an Indyguitarist Plexidrive or Plextortion or a Crunch Box or a Big Ben Overdrive or anything else for a British and ACDC sound.
Also, since I can't afford a Univibe, a Chicken Salad vibrato from Danelectro.
The MXR chorus seems cool too.
Ollie, bit of overkill having the Fuzz Factory and the Muff. The Muff will be all the fuzz you need. Are you really going to use those whacky velcro sounds? I found the excitement wore off those things pretty quickly and the unpredictable sounds can be had by putting an old, nearly worn out battery in your fuzz pedal anyway. The PS-5 is something I'd like too, but can't justify the cost.
Cool question. |

I really want the fuzz factory so I can jump around the house pretending to be Matt Bellamy. Well, I already do, but I could get the proper Plug in Baby sound.

Buy a real Lesliecab! About half the price of a Univibe, but it sounds much better. |
